How to get here

 

Runkelstein shuttle

A free shuttle bus is at your disposal and takes you from Piazza Walther to Runkelstein Castle. The service is available from 10 am to 5.30 pm from the 2nd of April until the 3rd of November 2019 and from th 28th of November to the 6th of January 2020.

 

Public transport

You can get to Runkelstein Castle also using public transport: line 12 during the week, line 14 Saturday and Sunday. Click here for further information.

 

By car

Take the road which goes to Sarntal Valley (SS 508) and turn right before the first tunnel. At the bottom of the castle you will find a free and unattended parking.

Attention: it is NOT possibile to get to the castle by car!

On foot or by bike

If you want to get here on foot or by bike, take the beautiful promenade along the river Talvera. Enjoy the walk which lasts around 30 minutes or the ride with the bike!

Important!

Once you have got off the bus or you have parked your car, you have to continue on foot. Since there is a climb of 5-10 minutes, we advise to wear suitable shoes. In case of deambulatory issues or other necessites, our shuttle can take you near the entrance. Please inform us at the time of reservation.
