Events

As well as temporary exhibitions, numerous cultural and musical events take place in the wonderful setting of Runkelstein Castle.

The ‘KLANGfesteMUSICALI’ events organized by the Südtiroler Kulturinstitut have been held here for many years, taking place between June and July.

In addition, during summer and autumn, events which are part of the ‘Castelronda’ and the ‘Long Night of the Museums’ take place in the castle. Both are wonderful occasions to visit the castles and museums of the Bolzano area.

A musical experience in an historical location

The famous Japanese artist takes us with her voice and enchanting sound of the koto to distant and mysterious Japan. An exciting journey through time, cultures and genres.

After the concert enjoy an oriental dinner in the castle's tavern: a great opportunity to meet in person the artist and the artistic director of the evening, Manfred Bernard
